When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. As you use Morso, we collect learning activity data including courses created, quiz answers, lesson progress, and achievements earned.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to personalize your learning experience, track your progress, generate AI-powered course content tailored to your level, send optional push notifications (streak reminders and achievement alerts), and improve our platform through aggregated analytics.
3. Third-Party Services
Morso integrates with the following third-party services:
- Google OAuth — for authentication
- Expo Push Notifications — for delivering optional notifications to your device
- AI providers — for generating course content (no personal data is shared with AI providers)
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in a cloud-hosted PostgreSQL database. Authentication tokens are encrypted and stored securely on your device. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account directly from the Settings screen in the Morso app, which permanently removes all your data including your profile, courses, progress, and achievements.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers immediately. We do not retain backup copies of deleted user data.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Morso after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
