1. About Morso

Morso is an AI-powered microlearning platform that generates personalized courses on any topic, with bite-sized lessons and interactive quizzes to help you learn efficiently.

Morso is currently developed and operated independently ("we," "us," "our").

By creating an account or using Morso, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Morso.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Morso, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that's higher. Morso is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you're between 13 and 18, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use Morso.

If we learn we've collected information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we'll delete it. If you believe a child has used Morso in violation of this policy, contact us at hello@morso.app.

3. AI-Generated Content

Course content on Morso is generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Morso is a supplementary learning tool, not an authoritative source. Always verify important information independently, especially for topics with real-world consequences.

Morso is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or safety advice. Don't make decisions with health, legal, financial, or safety consequences based solely on content generated by Morso.

4. Your Account

You sign in to Morso with a Google or Apple account. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account. You can delete your account anytime from Settings, which permanently removes your data.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

Morso Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Google Play (and the Apple App Store once iOS is available). All payments are processed by Google or Apple through their in-app billing systems. Morso doesn't process payments or store your payment information directly.

Because purchases go through Google/Apple, refunds are handled by their policies, not by us directly. Request a refund through the Google Play Store or App Store where you made the purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled first. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Google Play or App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

Use Morso only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• generate courses with harmful, illegal, or offensive content
• reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with how Morso works
• abuse or attempt to manipulate the AI generation system
• use Morso in a way that could harm, disable, or overburden the platform

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

7. Your Content & Uploads

If you upload a PDF or other document so Morso can generate a course from it, you confirm you have the right to share that content, and you grant us a license to process it solely to generate your course. We extract the content needed to generate your course and don't store the original file. You're responsible for not uploading copyrighted material you don't have rights to, or illegal content.

You retain ownership of anything original you upload. AI-generated course content created for your account is provided for your personal educational use.

If you believe something on Morso infringes your copyright, email us at hello@morso.app with details and we'll look into it.

8. Intellectual Property

The Morso platform, including its design, code, and branding, belongs to us. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the platform to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Morso is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee Morso will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morso and its operator won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on AI-generated content, data loss, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim relating to Morso is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $50 if you haven't paid us anything.

11. Indemnification

You agree to cover any claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of Morso.

12. Account Termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can terminate your account anytime using Delete Account in Settings. When you do, your data is permanently deleted.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute comes up, email us first at hello@morso.app so we can try to sort it out directly. If that doesn't resolve it, disputes will be handled in the courts of Nigeria.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing something once doesn't mean we're waiving it for later. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about using Morso, and replace any earlier agreements on the subject.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Morso after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
